Medec Ltd was listed on the ASX in 2002 and had established
itself as a provider of advanced systems for use in the field of
healthcare and energy medicine. Between 2002 and June 2006 Medec
focussed on the manufature of high quality therapy devices. In
July 2006 Medec purchased 51% of Body Contours Pte Ltd in
Singapore and entered into the wellness service industry.
Atos Wellness group established in 1984 focused on providing
high quality therapeutic services through highly skilled
aestheticians using the latest techniques from the USA and
Europe. In January 2008 Atos Wellness Ltd (ASX code ATW) was
formed out of a merger of Medec Ltd (ASX:MAA) with Atos Wellness
group.
